Completion
bonuses: To unlock all of Gohan's, Vegeta's, Goku's, and Trunks' forms, as
well as Broly, Bardock, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha, complete the game under
any difficulty setting.
Successfully complete the game
to unlock Pendulum Room mode.
Hint:
Defeating Bosses: When fighting a boss have a special move, teleport, and a good
combo selected. Run up to the Boss enough to teleport behind them, then do a
combo. When he or she gets thrown away, lock on quickly and hurl a special
move to cause maximum damage.
Hint:
Defeating Vegeta: When fighting Vegeta, stay in the air the entire time. Dodge his
Galic Guns. When he uses his other attack, it will only affect you if you
are on the ground. While that attack occurs, Vegeta will be vulnerable. Lock
on to him with L and hold X to hit him with a Kamehameha Wave.
Keep doing this until he is defeated. You should not lose any health by
doing this.
Hint:
Gohan: Defeating Nappa: Fly while shooting Mesenkos at Nappa. Nappa will eventually start
shooting blasts of energy that paralyze you. Quickly dodge them and fire at
him.

Goku: Defeating Freiza: When fighting Freiza as Goku, you can only hurt him when you are
a Super Saiyan. When he charges up his Death Ball, use the Quick Teleport
(if purchased) to get to him and deliver the blows to hurt him or charge up
your Super Saiyan meter. Try using only punches and kicks, as he will dodge
the Kamehame Wave. It will only hit and hurt him if you are Super Saiyan and
if done while he is charging up his Death Ball.

Goku: Finishing moves: Press Y(5).

Teen Gohan: Defeating Perfect Cell: Keep hitting him until the Ki bar for Super Saiyan is full. Then
turn Super Saiyan and keep hitting him until you have filled the Ki bar for
Super Saiyan 2. Finally, when you turn Super Saiyan 2 attack Cell with
Masenko, but first lock on to him with L. If he teleports behind you,
use a combo. Note: Do not waste your Ki on Cell.
Hint:
Defeating Cell: Once in SS1, do only simple combos with a lot of buttons
involved. The more buttons the better. Try using the first two combos that
you learn. Note: You must have Combo Breaker. Try not to use Ki moves unless
you have to; the longer you must charge, the more open you are to attacks.
Hint:
Defeating Vegeta: Dodge his moves and get up to him. Keep attacking with B(2),
Y(2). Do not stop doing this to prevent Vegeta from guarding.
Sometimes he will make a quick guard and start beating you again. Note: He
is very fast.
Hint:
Easy energy blast hits: When fighting a henchmen or Boss, get him within the view of the
screen. You can do this when you are on the ground or in the air. Hold X.
When game play slows down and your character starts charging up a blast,
press L and put your aiming reticule on your enemy. Press Teleportation
. You will teleport directly behind the enemy while you are still charging
up. Once you have appeared behind the enemy, immediately release X to
blast your enemy at point blank range. If you want to be reckless, charge
another one after he falls to the ground from the last attack. Teleport
behind him and blast him again. You can do this repeatedly. Note: It is
easier to do this when the enemy is distracted by charging up his own blast
or doing any other attack that he may be trying to perform. Just hit him
with this before he can make it successful.

Unblockable finisher: Press Y(4), X with any character.
Hint:
Warp finishing move: When locking onto an opponent with any character, while charging
for an attack, teleport in front or in back of your opponent and attack.

Hit Dende: In Tyranny Of Frieza you can hit Dende with Ki balls or a special
move.
Hint:
Warp Kamekameha: To do a Warp Kamehameha or any Warp Ki attack, when charging it
lock on to your opponent and teleport.

Easy practice: Set the game on two-player mode. Have the second player be Goku
or Vegeta. You will win against him because he cannot attack.

Easy wins: Throw someone. When they go flying, do Galick Gun, etc. and it
will kill them.
Glitch:
Freiza becomes stuck: In the fight with Freiza, if you hit him at the bottom of the
screen he will be stuck. He will throw a blast at you, but you cannot hurt
him. Throw a Kamehame Wave and he will be back on the island so that you can
resume fighting him.
Glitch:
Holding the Boss under your arm: When fighting Frieza, Cell, Captain Ginyu or any other Boss, grab
your opponent at the same time that he attacks or grabs you. You will both
fall to the ground and will get back up with the enemy under your arm.
However, you cannot hurt the enemy, and will have to restart.
Glitch:
Leave game boundary: In Journey to Namek, choose Piccolo (no cape). Defeat the first
set of enemies. When you get to the second set (with the one on the building
that is firing at you), defeat them as well. Next, go the location where the
building meets the hill (closest to beginning). Get a run and jump at the
building, but stay close to the hill at the same time. If done correctly,
Piccolo should land on the hill! You can now climb up the hill and play
around on the mountains in the background. The blue pits will take you into
an infinite abyss.
In Tyranny of Frieza, choose
any character and defeat the first three waves of enemies. Then, go to the
second rock. You should see a tree and a strip of beach behind the rock.
Destroy the tree. You need to get on the beach. To do so, you must fly over
the rock. To fly over the rock, go to the big third rock. Get to the highest
point on the bottom ledge, near the right. Jump and fly onto the next ledge.
With practice you can get to the very top of the rock, and will be able to
jump. Jump, fly, and go over the previous rock, then land. Now jump. If your
character is greenish, jump again and press Forward. You should land.
Jump, and if your character looks normal, move towards the left edge of the
rock, but do not cross it. Keep going forward, and to the side slightly.
Eventually your character should run off into the water. Be careful to fly
here, or you will fall too far to come back. You can fly around looking at
the islands, and and see Frieza's spaceship up close.
Glitch:
Play as same character in pendulum mode: While at the character selection screen, have both players
highlight the character you which to be the same as, then press A
simultaneously. If done correctly, both should say their names at the same
time. Note: The timing must be precise.
