MLB SlugFest 2004 cheats

Cheat mode:
Press B, Y, and X to change the icons in the first, second, and third boxes respectively at the match-up screen. The numbers in the following list indicate the number of times each button is pressed. After the icons have been changed, press the D-pad in the indicated direction to enable the code. For example, to enter 1-2-3 Left, press B, Y(2), X(3), Left.

Season FMV sequence:
Successfully complete a full season to unlock the Season FMV sequence at the Extras menu.

Challenge FMV sequence:
Successfully complete challenge mode to unlock the Challenge FMV sequence at the Extras menu.

Hint: Easy ability points:
To get easy ability points for a player in career mode, at the first game, go to "Option" and switch from the CPU to controller two. Only pitch fast balls right down the center and watch the points mount up. You can get only three points per game.

Hint: Easy out:
If you are pitching and a batter is on fire, bean him anywhere you want. He will catch the ball and walk to second base. When the next batter is at the plate, do a pick-off throw to first base. If he steals, throw it to second. If he does not do anything, wait for him to hit you until you drop the ball. When you do, he will run to second base. Get the ball and throw it to second base. He will most likely slide; walk toward him and tag him with X.

Hint: Glowing Sub-Zero and Scorpion:
Enable the "Sub-Zero team" or "Scorpion team" codes. Any time you get on fire, their boots will glow.

Hint: Batter on fire:
Intentionally bean your opponent's batters until he smokes, then catches on fire before charging the pitcher's mound.

Hint: Fights:
Press random buttons a lot when you get hit and you may go into a fight. This does not happen all of the time. The game does not show the players fighting. The view goes to the pitcher's teammates, looking at them, and the screen shakes.
