your kill total.

Fang cutlass. There is also a Golden Hamachou Discovery that can be found at
the top of the island between Shrine Island and Sailors' Isle .
Hint:
Avoid battles on ship: Fly as low as possible to avoid battles on your ship. Note: This
works about 50% of the time.
Hint:
Skip special move animation: Press Z whenever the Skill Points starts to drain. This is
very useful on Aika's Omega Cyclone, as it takes very long to finish.
Hint:
Tuna Cutlass: Even though the Tuna Cutlass is near the top of the list, you
should avoid it because of its horrible accuracy and hit percentage.
Hint:
Water beast: When you get the Green Moon Crystal, go back down to Horteka
Village. Go down to the water and talk to the beast. He will ask to see the
stone. Answer "Yes" and you will get a black 5" cannon for
your ship. Note: You can only talk to the beast once, and if you do not have
the stone at that time he will leave forever. If you give him the crystal,
you will have to fight him to get it back.
Hint:
Magic Cannon: When you defeat Bellezza and steal her Magic Cannon, you can use
it to defeat Armada Cruisers or Black Pirates that use magic in ship battles
by casting Silensis at the start of a battle and stopping them from using
Magic. This way, they cannot attack and you can easily build up power for
the Harpoon/Moon Stone Cannon.
Hint:
Moonberries: Fight near Valua. Almost every time you will pick up a Moonberry.
Hint:
Vorlik Blade: In order to get the ultimate blade for Vyse, you must first have
Ryu-Khan and then you must upgrade his shop. After you find Fina's ship,
talk to him about things. He will tell you about a piece of metal called
"Velorium". Go back into deep sky and start searching with the
crane. Soon, you will find two pieces of the substance. Talk to him again
and he will begin work on his "ultimate piece". In a day or two,
check with him. He will give you the Vorlik Blade. This has the highest
attack and accuracy in the game.
Hint:
Cham locations:
1. At Pirate's Isle, go to
the underground area. It is near the crane at the topmost area.
2. At Shrine Island, it is on
the third level down from the entrance.
3. At Maramba, it is on the
balcony of the inn.

the second hall with a falling boulder, it is in the center of the hall
against the left wall.

found just before the entrance to the airship area.
6. At King's Hideout, it can
be found near the open silver pot.

the very first fork, turn left and search.
8. At Moon Stone Mountian, in
the first room that you can see below, cross to the other side via the
left path. Then, get on the middle path and search near the trap panel.
9. At Rixis Entrance, it is
to the left of the statue where you placed the Golden Man's Eye (the left
statue).
10. At Rixis, in the area
with several floating platforms, after crossing on the first, go up the
broken stairs and search. It is at the top.
11. Defeat Gordo in the North
Ocean.
12. At Nasr, you will get it
automatically when you receive the paycheck at the tavern.
13. At Daccat's Island, it is
near the entrance when you go there with Aika and Fina.
14. At Daccat's Island, in
the room with several bridges on Aika's side, go to the treasure chest and
cross the two bridges directly in front of you. Then, search.
15. Search at the top of the
Sailor's Island lighthouse.
16. At Nasrad in Ruins,
search below the fountain in the center of town.
17. Search the deck of the
Delphinus.
18. At Esperanza, go down the
ladder near the entrance of the main town area and search.
19. At Yafutoma, you will
find this Cham on the right side of the city near the ferry dock.
20. At Mt. Kazai, after the
drop from the room with four passages, go down the passage until you reach
a fork. Go south and search immediately for the cham.
21. At Exile Island, follow
the path until you pass under a "roof". Then, go to the next
circular area and search for a Cham.
22. At Crescent Isle, search
behind the building with the large cannon in it, underground.
23. At Crescent Isle, look
near the flagpole in the upper part of the village.
24. At Gordo's Bistro, search
near the barrels. Gordo's Bistro can be found in North Ocean near the top
of the sky.
25. Search the entrance of
the Ruins of Ice.
26. At Glacia, from the final
save point in the dungeon, go south past an intersection and search at the
end of the path.
27. At Ilchymis' Islandm look
down the stairs near one of the machines.
28. Hamachou Island can be
found high in the sky above Dark Rift. search around near the partying
Chou to find the Cham.
29. At Shrine Island (part of
Soltis), Once inside the area with many ring rooms, go to the last large
room before the next area. Go down one room. It is located here.
30. At Soltis, once in the
area with all the teleporters, search each level for the final Cham.
Hint:
Abirik Chams:
1. Catch ten Sky Sardis fish
and give them to the merchant flying next to Horteka.
2. Go to Nasr once it has
been destroyed and talk to the old merchant who gave you the passport into
Valua. He is in the weapon shop.
3. Keep going to the Kabal
lady in Maramba and the tavern keeper in Esparanza until you have to find
Gentum, Khale and Kabal to make some Kabal Skewers. The Kabal can be found
by going to Gordo's Bistro and talking to Gordo; the Gentum by going to
the item shop in Nasr and buying it for 300 gold pieces; and the Khale on
an invisible island called Spice Island, southwest of Yufatoma (it is also
a discovery -- watch your compass). Once you have obtained all of these,
keep going back and forth again until the tavern keeper gives you the
final Abirik Cham.
Hint:

Hint:
Easy level up: After you complete the Temple of Pyrynn and the two ship fights,
go in the back way to the room before the magma walkway. Run up and down the
room fighting monsters. This is also a good way to level up magic. You can
get Moonberries at the end of fights, based on a random drop.
After you complete the Temple
of Pyrynn and the following battles, heal and go in the back entrance. Go to
the room after the magma walkway and run up and down the stairs. You will
fight a group of Salamanders. Vyse can kill one in one hit, as can Drachma.
Have Aika and Fina attack the same one, and it will be killed. They also
seem to drop quite a few Moonberries.
After you go through the Dark
Rift, you will be able to go back. After you finish off all the tasks and
have to go around the world, go back to the Dark Rift then go to the exit.
You will see a large black Elooper which is stronger than Ramirez. Battle it
and automatically use Vyse's Skull Shield, Aika's Blocking Magic special,
Drachma's Spirit Charge, and have Fina Focus. Repeat until you get the
Prophecy Crew special and use it. Keep doing this until it dies to get 7,000
experience points.
Fight a lot of ship battles. It
is easier if you have the Magic Cannon because you can cast Sylencis at the
start of the battle and wait until you can use the Harpoon Cannon or Moon
Stone Cannon.
Hint:
Easy money: Go to Nasr kingdom and fight the weird plants with gold spikes.
Try to let them live a little so that they call allies. You will get 1,000
gold for each one killed.
Hint:
Secret specials: You need the Delpinus and at least five crew members to get these
specials. Get your SP (spirit points) in battle to full and a crew SP icon
will appear next to the item. This enables all of your active crew members
to attack. Repeat these steps to get another special. You need all four
people alive for this to work. This one combines the strength of all four
people, and is the strongest special in the game.
Hint:
Three final secrets: To unlock the final three secrets in the game you must meet the
following requirements:
Have a treasure chest
discovery rate of 90%/
Have every Discovery in your Journal.
Fight 12 or 15 non-story line ship battles.
Kill over 3,000 enemies.
Find all of the Moonfish
After these requirements are
met, you can find the Golden Hamachou, buy the Sky Fang, and fight Vigoro
the air pirate.
Hint:
Mystery merchant on file two: When you start a new game on file two, the mystery merchant you
saw on Sailors Island on file one is now on Maramba. The mystery merchant is
in the first building by the docks.
Hint:
Defeating Piastol: Do not sell one of the two Swords Of Daccat that you get. When
you fight Piastol, equip one. Have Vyse attack the Death Hound. It will fall
asleep in the first or second turn. Then, have Vyse just focus, Aika cast
Delta Shield, Fina focus or heal, and Enrique cast Justice Shield every turn
until you can use Prophecy. Do this twice, and you should win easily.
Hint:
Strong party members: To make any of your characters extremely strong, get Illchymis in
your crew and upgrade his shop. He will then sell you stat-upgrade seeds.
Fight Elcian in the Yafutoma end of the dark rift to earn money and gain
levels. After you have earned a lot of money, buy a number of seeds and use
them on your characters. Note: Your characters will still vulnerable to
instant death and some other status effects.
Hint:
Moonfish: The following details reveal the location of Moonfish and the
item you get when you feed it to the Maria's bird.
Pirate Island 01: Go down to the very bottom level of Dyne's base, where the
Albatross or the Little Jack will be docked. If you go down to the very
far left and stand against the edge, you should hear the clicking or
ringing noises that indicate a Moonfish is nearby.
02: It is on top of the
Lookout Isle area with the long ladder. Fortunately for you, once you
escape Valua for the first time and rescue Fina, an intermission sequence
will play and set you down on top of it. Wander around the edge of the
island until you hear the ringing noise.
Sailor's Island 03: If you go around Polly's Tavern, the side farthest from the level
exit, and stand on the very edge of the cliff, the Moonfish is there. The
only reason this is slightly difficult is because first-time players will
have a hard time finding it.
04: Going into Sailor's
Island Inn, head up to the top floor and go out on the balcony with the
little girl on it. Wander around and try to position yourself to correctly
secure the Moonfish. Note: Your position must be precise.
Maramba 05: On the docks, go to the very leftmost one from where your ship
will be parked. At the edge, you will hear the ringing. There will not be
any preceding clicking; be sure to explore.
06: First, talk to the Dhabu
Trainer in the northeast corner of the main area and get him to let you
borrow his Dhabu. Then, take the Dhabu through the town, to the weapons
shop. On the roof will be two red poles, marking a "Dhabu stop."
Get off the Dhabu here and search around until you hear the ringing sound.
Temple of Pyrynn 07: Near the beginning of the level you will reach an area made of
crisscrossing catwalks. You will be able to hear the Moonfish clicking,
but no matter where you stand you cannot seem to get a good vantage point.
Instead of worrying about it, continue along the path until you reach a
downhill corridor. Stepping inside will cause a boulder to chase you down
(each one doing 400 damage to each member in your party). These are easily
avoided by ducking into the alcoves halfway down on either side of the
passage. If you go into the right alcove, you will find an alternate path.
Follow it to end up back in the catwalks area. Walk along the path until
the Moonfish comes into range.
08: This is fairly elongated,
but is very easy. In the room before the RockWyrm boss, go up the ramp and
follow the path into the big puzzle room. Solve the puzzle to fill the
bottom area with lava, then go back and activate the water sluices with
the button. When the lava cools, go across it, sticking to the right side.
The Moonfish is there.
Horteka 09: Go up to the platform where TikaTika would be. Hug the cliff face
and wander around. It will be on the narrow part across from the treasure
chest.
10: Use the wooden slides to
get into the Horteka Tavern area. Climb up to the top level of the tavern
and go outside. On the platform with another wooden slide on it, the one
that leads back to the main area, is where you need to stand. Go into the
opposite corner from the slide.
Moonstone Mountain 11: This is the only difficult Moonfish in the game, as Moonstone
Mountain is a labrynth. It is easy to do if you are hitting it on your way
through for the first time. Once you have found Centime and he has gotten
the elevator nearby to work, go inside and ride it up. Follow the path
straight, turning only when you have to. You will pass by only one
intersection that splits off to your right. Ignore it. Eventually, the
path will curve downward until you end up on a lone platform with a
treasure chest on it. The chest contains "De Loco's Drill," a
weapon made for Drachma. The Moonfish will be in range on the very left of
the platform.
Lost City of Rixis 12: Towards the end of the area filled with moving platforms, is one
platform sitting against the side of a ruined building that is actually
part of a chain of platforms to take you back to the beginning of the
area. The Moonfish comes into range right before you step on that first
platform. Note: Be careful.
Nasrad 13: On the docks, go to the long arm with a torch on it closest to
where Khazim and his giant cannon are located. It is easier to find this
after Ramirez nukes Nasrad. By doing this, you can just walk to the very
edge of what remains of that dock and catch the Moonfish there.
Daccat's Island (Vyse and
Gilder Side) 14: In the pillar maze (on Vyse and Gilder's side, obviously), when
you find the Moonberry treasure chest somewhere to the left of the door
into the room, the Moonfish should be nearby.
Crescent Isle 15: After you get the Delphinus and Izmael has turned the island into
a base, go into the docking bay's lower level on the left side. Hug the
edge, and you should hear the Moonfish ringing away. It will be hovering
just below the nose of the Delphinus.
16: Take the elevator that
leads up to the meeting room; the Moonfish will be painfully obvious from
there. Wander around if you are having trouble.
Esperanza 17: This one is on top of the abandoned lighthouse, on the point
farthest away from the town itself. To get to the light house, go inside
the building situated immediately before the dirt ramp that leads up to
the tavern. Flip the switch, climb the ladder, and go the rest of the way
up to the lighthouse.
18: Near the weapons merchant
in the back of the area there will be a couple of crashed ships. Explore
near the one to the left of the merchant, and the Moon Lens will start
ringing.
Yafutoma 19: From the King's pad, go around the building and onto the red
bridge suspended above the water. Hug the left side of the bridge and the
Moonfish will give itself away.
Mount Kazai 20: Once you have filled the central room to the top with water (by
pressing all four blue switches), use the decline attached to the platform
to drop down into the bottom of the room. There is one door down there. Go
inside and you will walk out into a wide cavern, where your underwater
suit will come off automatically. Climb the rope near the hole you just
came from to step onto a platform area that takes you back to the
beginning of the level, as in Rixis. As soon as you emerge there, you will
hear the Moonfish shrilling away. Turn around and go back down the rope to
return to the cavern room.
Tenkou Island 21: In the very topmost area of the Island--where you meet Daigo for
the first time, if you go up on the balcony surrounding the building and
go left you will find the Moonfish there.
Glacia 22: Once the Delphinus can go above or below the clouds, go to the
Lands of Ice. Find Glacia from Lower Sky. It is located directly below the
entrance in Mid Sky. You can use the map to help you out. Go into the
Lower Sky entrance and follow the path. You will hit a treasure chest and
eventually come in range of the Moonfish.
Dangral Island 23: As soon as you land, go to the right of the Delphinus' lifeboat
and hug the edge.
24: You can get this one
while looking for the Deep Sky schematics. In the docking bay where De
Loco's ship, the Chameleon, is waiting, go to the very far end. Make sure
to stay close to the edge, and the Moon Lens will go crazy after a while.
It will be directly below the Chameleon's nose if you have not defeated De
Loco yet. If you have, it will be floating in the same area, but much more
visible.
