Throwing Knife
Power: Good
A very good weapon for covert missions. Its power and speed make it a deadly weapon.
Hunting Knife
Power: Good
Used at close range, it is good for stealth missions and is a good weapon.
PP7
Power: Medium
A weapon that can be fitted with a silencer and is very good weapon at close and far ranges.
DD44
Power: Good
A very strong weapon at close and far ranges, but is not good for covert missions, as it is very loud.
Cougar Magnum
Power: Excellent
A very strong weapon that can fire through some objects. However, it has slow recoil and is very loud.
Klobb
Power: Bad
This weapon has a very small clip, which is disposed quickly, and is very loud.
ZMG 9mm
Power: Excellent
Very good weapon for room clearing, but has poor aim.

Can be fitted with a silencer and is very powerful.

GoldenEye007
Recommended 007 mode settings:
Use the following settings in 007 mode, as completing them will
increase your skill at the game. The first four columns are abbreviations
for the settings such as enemy health, damage, accuracy and reaction time.
The others are abbreviations for the levels. For example, D = Dam, F =
Facility, R = Runway, etc.

Double
mixed weapons:
Obtain two sets of paired weapons that appear next to each other
in your weapon list and some ammunition for each gun. (For example, in the
Military Archives level, obtain two Dostoveis and two Klobbs). Cycle through
the weapons until two of the second set of weapons are ready. Next, Quickly
press the following set of buttons. Hold A button, then before the
weapons cycle forward, press Z(2). Release A, then press A
once Press Z to fire two or three times while the weapons are
cycling. If done correctly, firing the weapon will lock one of the weapons
during the cycle, allowing a mixed set.
Alternatively, obtained two pairs of different weapons. On the first pair, fire a shot from the gun on the left. Then, press B, release B, press A, release A, then hold Z. Note: The buttons must be pressed quickly and one at a time.
Get two of the same guns out. Then, only shoot the left gun once. Press B, A, then hold Z. The two guns will lock. Your timing must be precise.
Three
handed Bond:
Enable the "All guns" code. Get the double laser guns.
On the first pair, fire the left gun, then quickly press B. Release B,
press A, release A, and hold Z. The game should show
Bond holding a laser gun and a laser watch.
Peek
around corners:
Hold L or R and press C-Left or C-Right
to look around corners. You will be susceptible to gunfire from enemies.
Duck:
Hold L or R and press C-Down to
"duck" (similar to "Tiny Bond") and become a smaller
target for enemy fire.
Cycle
back through weapons:
Press A + Z to cycle back through your weapons.
Copying
cheats to another folder:
Highlight a cheat from a folder, then hold A and keep that
button pressed until instructed otherwise. Press B(2) to return to
the folder selection screen. Then, press Z to select another folder.
Enter the cheat menu, highlight any code, then press Z. Press B
and release A. Select any level to begin game play with the cheat
from the first folder.
Cougar
Magnum gun:
Complete the game under the "Agent" difficulty setting.
Egyptian
level:
Complete the game under the "00 Agent" difficulty
level.
Bonus
Aztec level:
Complete the Antenna Cradle level under the "00 Agent"
or "Secret Agent" difficulty setting.
007
mode:
Complete every level, including Aztec and Egypt, under the
"00 Agent" difficulty setting. The 007 game setting may now be
accessible. Options such as enemy health, enemy damage, enemy accuracy, and
enemy intelligence be adjusted.
Complete the entire game under the "Secret Agent" difficulty setting. Then, go to the Cradle level and complete it under the "Secret Agent" difficulty setting. This will unlock the Aztec level. Complete that level under the "Secret Agent" difficulty setting. When completed, all levels will be now be unlocked under the "00 Agent" difficulty setting. There is no need to complete the first level under "00 Agent" and then complete all the other levels on that setting -- they will be already accessed.
Same
character in multiplayer mode:
Set the number of players to "4" and select the desired
character for player four. Change the number of player s "3" and
select any character (including the same character that was chosen in the
previous step) for player three. Set the number of players to "2"
and select the desired character for players one and two. Note: Players one
and two can never be the same character. Set the number of players to
"4" and begin game play.
Bonus
multiplayer areas:
Complete the second Severyna bunker, the Military Archives, and
Water Caverns levels under the Agent difficulty setting. These areas will be
available for multiplayer mode.
Bonus
multiplayer characters:
Bond villains Mayday, Oddjob, Jaws, and Baron Samedi will be
selectable for deathmatch mode after the game is completed under the Agent
difficulty setting. Note: They are not available in single player mode.
View
cast of characters:
Do not press anything on the controller after turning on the
game. After it says "Goldeneye", the game will go through the cast
of characters, including the secret people.
Rifle
butt (paint brush) weapon:
Begin game play in multi-player mode in any level that contains
sniper rifles. Do not pick up a different kind of gun. This trick will not
work if you have already pulled out the sniper rifle -- it has to be done on
the first attempt. Collect a sniper rifle then quickly press A(2) to
use the back end of it as a weapon. Note: The polygons that make up the
rifle butt resemble a paint brush or pencil eraser.
Shooting help:
When using an automatic weapon and using the cross-hair targeting, to shoot a near perfectly accurate shot, press Z instead of holding it down. This works well with the Soviet.
When using any non-automatic weapon such as the Magnum, pressing Z quickly will shoot faster then holding it down.
When targeting with the Sniper Rifle, accuracy is always 100% no matter how fast you shoot.
When using the Grenade Launcher, shoot the ground or walls next to your opponent rather than directly at your opponent. Grenades bounce off characters. Note: This does not apply to the Rocket Launcher.
The Military Laser, Magnum, Silver PP7, and RCP90 shoot through doors and bulletproof glass. Explosions from any explosive weapon goes through doors, glass, and even walls.
When using grenades, hold down Z button to pull the 6.5 second pin timer. Letting go of Z at any time will release the grenade. Holding Z down for 3 seconds and letting go will throw the grenade and make it explode after 3.5 more seconds.
Special
ending:
Successfully complete the Cradle level under the "007"
difficulty setting. Wait until the "James Bond Will Return"
message to see all characters during the ending.
