Unlimited

Play

game again with the other character, and also complete their first and

three hours. Note: The game must saved less than twelve times during each of
the six scenarios played and unlimited weapons must not be used. Tofu is a
piece of tofu (food) that must reach the second floor of the police station
from the sewer with just battles and no puzzles. Tofu can not use any
weapons other than a knife.

to activate this code to play his scenario with those cheats.
Play
as Hunk: Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Left(2),
Right(2), L, R, C-Up, C-Right, C-Down,
C-Left at the load game screen. The game will proceed to the title
screen to confirm correct code entry. Alternately, Complete Claire or Leon's
second scenario saving less than twelve times with a end time of under two
hours and thirty minutes. Hunk is a soldier that must reach the second floor
of the police station from the sewer with just battles and no puzzles.
Note: You can enable the
"Unlimited ammunition" and "Invincibility" codes prior
to activate this code to play his scenario with those cheats.
Randomizer
mode: Successfully complete the game with both scenarios. When starting
a new game, a choice for original or randomizer mode will appear after
selecting your character and difficulty settings. Randomizer mode places
items and objects randomly throughout the game.
Alternate
uniforms: Start a new game with Leon and choose your settings to: red blood
color and normal difficulty. Begin the game, and advance past the opening
sequence. Do not pick up any items and try to avoid using your handgun
bullets (you only really need them for the zombies in the bus and the zombie
with the key - avoid the rest of the zombies). Get to the police station
gate and go to the lower level stairwell. Outside you should see Brad
Vickers (from Resident Evil 1 and 3) as a zombie. Use the rest
of your clip on him. If he is still standing after that, run into the police
station and get the handgun bullets on the desk near the computer, then go
back outside and finish him off. Check his body to find a Special Key which
will allow you to change clothes in the Dark Room (where you develop film).
Leon has a leather jacket with skull emblem and an old S.T.A.R.S uniform
with a baseball hat and Claire has a leather suit with a fast firing pistol
called the Colt SAA. Another way to kill the zombie easily is to go up close
and shoot his legs to make him fall forward, Then allow him bite your leg
and you will crush his head. However, only do so if your condition is at
Fine or Caution. If you get hurt by the zombie, get the herb in the garden
at the top of the stairwell. This trick allows you to get the uniforms
without completing either scenarios. The only difference is if you complete
the game you see a short sequence that says "Do not pick up any items
at the police station!".
Complete either character's
first and second scenarios in less than three hours. A zombie in a uniform
will appear after both missions are completed to confirm correct code entry.
Load the saved game and begin the first scenario by going to the police
station without collecting any items. Quickly move past the zombie that
appears in the alley near the police station. Collect the shotgun, then kill
the zombie. Take the special key from the zombie's body to open the lockers
with alternate uniforms. Claire has a denim jacket, with a quick shooting
revolver. Leon has two alternate uniforms (a leather jacket with skull
emblem, or a tank top and baseball hat), one of which will allow him to
shoot with one hand.
Unlimited
weapons: Complete either character's first scenario in under 2.5 hours
with an A or B ranking for the special rocket launcher. Complete either
character's second scenario in under 2.5 hours with an A or B ranking for
the special gatling gun. Complete either character's second scenario in
under 3 hours with an A or B ranking for the special machine gun. The
special weapon will appear in the next game after the first chest is opened.
Shotgun
or crossbow: When playing as Leon go to the gun shop with the man. He will
almost shoot you. After he dies because of the zombies, kill them. Then go
up to the dead man and press Action. You should get a shotgun. If
playing as Claire you will get the crossbow.
Ranking
system : To get an A ranking, beat the game in under three hours and do
not use any First Aid sprays. Herbs, however, may be used. To get a B
ranking, successfully complete the game in under three hours. To get a C
ranking, finish the game in five to seven hours. For a D rating, finish the
game in seven hours or more. Note: The rank will be lowered by one grade if
any special weapons are used, or if the game was saved more than twelve
times.
To get the "S" rank
on mission 1, complete the game in under 1 hour 30 minutes, only use up to
one green herb, do not save, and only use a knife, handgun and
shotgun/bowgun or magnum/grenade launcher. I.e., if you pick up the
shotgun/bowgun do not pick up the magnum/grenade launcher; or if you want
the magnum/grenade launcher, do not pick up the shotgun/bowgun. Also, no
weapons upgrades are allowed on any weapon and only one of each type of
weapon. I.e., do not pick up the shotgun/bowgun from the dead shopkeeper
then pick it up later in the game.
Rebecca
Chambers picture: Walk into the S.T.A.R.S office, go tothe back of the room and
click on the desk with the "This desk is trashed someone must of
searched it" description. Search the desk fifty times to find a photo
of Rebecca Chambers as a basketball player.
Shoot
the screen: While playing Leon's scenario, take the unlimited ammunition
shotgun and go to the roof where the helicopter crashed. Stand near the door
leading inside, and make sure that a close-up view of Leon appears. Aim the
shotgun at the screen and fire. Bullet holes will appear. Note: This may
also be done at any location where Leon can aim at the screen with the
shotgun.
Another way to do this is when
Leon in the gun shop after the zombies killed the man. Get the shot gun from
him and go to the bus that has crashed. Make sure you do not use the shot
gun while going to the bus. Once inside the bus, kill the two zombies (on
the floor and walking). Go to the back of the bus, where Leon entered, and
aim at the screen.
In the first scenario as
Claire, you can shoot the screen in the hall where the S.T.A.R.S. room is
located (where you get the fax). It is not in that room, but it is in that
hallway. Keep trying until you get it.
As Hunk in the green crow hall
where you fight the second Tyrant, go around the second corner in that room.
As you shoot at the Tyrant with a shotgun it will shoot the screen.

Hint:
Getting to Tyrant: In the room where the giant moth is located, the computer asks
you to use your user name. Type in "nemesis" for the user name.
This will get you to Tyrant, but you have to watch the two videos first.
Hint:
Defeating Tyrant: In the second scenario, after you put the joint plugs in, you
will fight a evolved form of Tyrant. Use the following steps to easily
defeat him. For Leon, run to the right from him as soon as the scene (with
black lines at bottom and top) ends. Start shooting him with the custom
magnum three times, then run toward the exit door. A woman will appear and
drop a special grenade launcher. Run towards the grenade launcher, pick it
up and shoot one shot to kill the Tyrant. If you are not an expert, you will
also need first aid sprays or herbs. For Claire, you will do the same thing
only using the regular grenade launcher with acid rounds. After this Tyrant,
you will open the gate and get on the train. Another intermission sequence
will play. After it finishes, the train will stop. Run towards the back of
the train until you see a tentacle drop down. Another intermission sequence
will play, and you have to fight another Tyrant variation. This time it is
in a revolting blob form. Run towards the front of the train until you reach
the door. Stop and shoot him with the remaining rocket. Then, use the custom
magnum or a grenade launcher with acid rounds. Shoot him until he melts.
After that, go to where you started and watch the ending sequence.
The "Tyrant" in the
second scenario is a indeed a Tyrant of the T-00 series but his name is Mr.
X.
Hint:
Safe code: The code for the safe in the room with the double blue doors is
4542.
Hint:
Access to secret room: To get into the room with the fingerprint access, you must get
the Red Umbrella Key card and go into the room with the bugs in it. Go to
the computer and type in "Nemesis" as a user name. It will take
your fingerprint. Go to the fingerprint key pad and put your fingerprint in
as the character being Leon or Claire and complete the game. Return to the
fingerprint lock as the other character and do the same thing and you can go
in. There are some Lickers in a glass container of liquid.
Hint:
Dead Hunter: Unlock the room in the Lab which requires two people to enter. In
the Culture Experiment Room is find a dead Hunter from the first Resident
Evil game and a group of strange experiments.
Hint:
Getting the Precinct Key: Go to the second floor, kill the Licker, and then go to the room
with a door with S.T.A.R.S. written on it. Get the diary (green book), get
the unicorn medal, talk to your "friend", and go down the stairs
back to the fountain in the hall. Stand in front of the fountain and use the
unicorn medal.
Hint:
Regaining the Precinct Key: If you discarded the Precinct Key, you can regain in the room
where you put the Red Jewels into the statues. Search the crates on the left
side of the statue to find the it. You can also find H. Gun Ammo and an Ink
Ribbon in this room.
Hint:
Getting the machine gun: Play the first scenario and find the door with a small hand pad
in the Umbrella Laboratory that requires two people to open. Even though you
cannot get in, activate it anyway. Complete the first scenario and start the
second. Find this pad again and activate it. The door will unlock and you
can find a machine gun in the room.
Hint:
Getting the gatling gun: Successfully complete the game in two and a half hours or less,
you can pick up items (only important things such as keys, card keys and
maps recommended) but do not save. The gatling gun is an awesome weapon that
shoots very fast and is powerful. The downside is that you cannot aim up or
down, and it takes up two spaces on the inventory screen. When you start the
next scenario in the slot you used, look in one of your item boxes.
Hint:
Hand gun ammunition: Always check a dead policeman. He will usually have ammunition.
Hint:
Brad's note: In either character's scenario B, get to the police station. Walk
out to where Brad Vickers would be to get the special key and look at the
ground. If there is nothing there, go back in the station, and do a little
more inside, then go out again. You will find a note that Brad left behind.
Hint:
Vomiting Zombies: You will eventually become a little girl in Claire's scenario.
Walk up to a zombie and instead of biting you they will vomit.
Using
the crank: Enter the copier room that requires the precinct key. Go to the
silver "ladder" and push it forward. Stand on it to find the
crank. Go to the room on the third floor with the "engines". Go to
the right to find a square hole. Use the crank and stairs will appear.
The
statue with the ruby in its hand: Push the gray statue to the mark in the wall on the right. Push
the red one opposite to the gray statue so that "Their Gaze Upon Them
Will Release The Red Soul".
Hidden
ammunition: The following locations behind and within the police station in
Scenario 1 contain hidden ammunition caches.
Alleyway past the stairs
of the gunshop Turn towards the trashcans opposite the blue dumpster and search them
for hand gun bullets.
Alleyway past the
basketball court Go past the zombie-filled basketball court until you find a van.
Search the back of the van and to receive hand gun bullets.
Dark Room Search the filing cabinet along the wall (next to the storage box) for
hand gun bullets.
S.T.A.R.S. office Check behind the "trashed" desk for hand gun bullets.
Hall with the stairs to
the basement Search the mop bucket leaning against the metal shelves behind the
stairs.
Night Watchman's bunk room With Leon, search the lockers for shotgun shells.
Briefing room (with the
chalkboard) Using Leon, go to the room where the red jewel was hidden in the
painting and search around the middle of the junk pile of art at the far
end of the room.
The hall with the crows Search the man "that was pecked to death" twice for hand gun
bullets.
The hall behind the main
R.P.D. police office (with the safe) Look for an unmoving zombie lying face-up on the floor and search it
for hand gun bullets.
The hall with the filing
room (near the beginning of the police station stage) Check the dead zombie lying on the floor.
Filing room (with the two
sided filing lockers in the middle) Using Leon, check the middle filing cabinets for shotgun shells.
Party room (with the last
surviving police officer) Search the cabinet where you talked to the last surviving police
officer.
Statue with second red
ruby Have Leon or Claire search behind the statue with the second red ruby.
Mixing
herb power-ups: The herb power-ups can be mixed using the "combine"
command for varying, but very beneficial results. This will also save
storage space for holding puzzle items. Here is a listing of some herbal
combinations and the outcomes:
1 green herb + 1 green herb =
Full health recovery
1 green herb + 1 blue herb = 20% health recovery and antidote
1 green herb + 1 red herb = Full health recovery
1 green herb + 1 red herb + 1 blue herb (in that order) = Cure-all (full
health recovery and antidote)
3 green herbs combined = Full health and more
Tyrant's
ammunition: In Leon or Claire's second scenario, the player will constantly
run into a giant super zombie called Tyrant. Every time he's defeated, the
player can steal his ammunition: Shotgun shells or magnum bullets for Leon,
and grenade rounds or bow gun bolts for Claire.
Final
stage bonus room: The final stage has a bonus room that can be entered through a
long but easy process. In the first scenario, have Leon or Claire use the
red lab key card to enter the room with the giant flying moth. Kill the
moth. Find the keyboard attached to the wall, kill the larvae on it and type
your name in on the keyboard as "GUEST." Register your
fingerprint. Go to the first floor of the lab and find the thumbprint reader
panel. Use your fingerprint, and the panel should then ask for a second
"fingerprint verification." Complete the game, and save the second
scenario to any file. In the second scenario from the game you have just
played, go to the final stage. Find the room on the first floor of the lab
where wriggling plant vines are blocking the vent. The red lab key card
should be there. Take it and go to the moth room with the keyboard. Enter
your name as "GUEST" and register your thumbprint. Finally, go to
the first floor and find the thumbprint reader. It should ask for the
"secondary fingerprint verification." Do it, and the bonus room to
the right of the panel should be unlocked. Look for a special weapon inside.
Safe
combination: The combination to the safe in front of the chief's desk at the
police office, with all the zombies, is 2236. Open it to find shotgun shells
and a map.
Extra
ammunition for Leon: When playing Leon's scenario and get the custom parts for a gun,
do not use them immediately. Instead, first use all of that ammunition, and
then combine them with the custom parts.
Hanging
birds on the wall: Shoot the birds with the crossbow to pin them against the wall.
Zombies
in shed: In the little shed with the valve handle, do not go through the
next door. There will be two zombies coming through the door as you do. You
will then have to shoot them.
Special
weapons: Use the Mac11 for fun, as it is not a good or fast gun. Use the
Rocket Launcher for blasting dogs,lickers and monsters. If you are fast, use
it for spiders and zombies. Use the Gatling Gun to kill anything.
Easy
crocodile battle: As you are approaching the crocodile battle, there is a gas
cylinder on one of the walls. You can press a button and release it, but
this cannot be done until the crocodile attacks. When it attacks, run down
the hall until you reach the gas cylinder. Release it and continue to run
from the crocodile. Wait for it to come on screen with your gun aimed in its
direction. As the crocodile comes around the corner, it will have the gas
cylinder is in its mouth. Shoot it until the cylinder explodes and takes off
the top of the crocodile's head.
Easy
Scenario A Boss battle: Use the following strategy when fighting the last Boss of either
A scenario. Get in one of the corners and use the machine gun to
continuously hit him. The speed at which it fires almost stops him in his
tracks. If your character gets hit, heal then run until reaching another
good position to use the machine gun. The battle lasts approximately one
minute using this technique. Another strategy is to use the rocket launcher
to kill the Boss in a single shot. However, less points are scored with that
method.
Checking
Zombies: If you are not sure if a zombie is dead, walk up fairly close to
it (but not so close that they start chewing your ankles) and simply back
up. If the Zombie is alive, the character will do a wary backup move instead
of the standard backup done when there is nothing there.
Detecting
enemies: In order to tell whether or not there is an enemy that you can
hear, but cannot see (off screen), turn in the opposite direction of where
the enemy may be, and press Aim. If there is an enemy present, your
character will turn around and aim in the direction of the enemy. If nothing
is there, your character will just aim in the direction you are facing. This
also is useful if you are not sure if a taken down zombie is actually dead.
Easy
Zombie kill: Begin a new game with Leon, with high violence, and any blood
color. Get through the crowd of zombies at the start. Go into the gun shop
and wait for Robert (the shop keeper) to get eaten by zombies. Get the
Shotgun and wait for a zombie to get close enough. Aim up and shoot its head
off. Aim down and blow its leg off. Note: This trick also works with the
Magnum, Custom Magnum, and Custom Shotgun. Sometimes when you shoot a zombie
close to the waist, its torso will fall off.
Shotgun
or crossbow: When playing as Leon go to the gun shop with the man. He will
almost shoot you. After he dies because of the zombies, kill them. Then go
up to the dead man and press Action. You should get a shotgun. If
playing as Claire you will get the crossbow.
S.T.A.R.S.
members group photo: There is a picture of the S.T.A.R.S. members in the RPD. Go to
the S.T.A.R.S. office in the second floor of Police Station. Look into the
picture between Weskers' desk and the trophy shelf.
Upside
down flag: Go to the police station and enter the room where the police have
meetings, and where you have to light the fireplace with the lighter to get
the red jewel. In the room where the soda machines are is a flag. It is an
American flag that is upside down.
Blue
Coke can: In the same room where you get the Hand Gun Parts to enhance your
weapon, near the door is a soda machine with a blue Coke can on the front of
it.
