Hints:
The
key to success is to actively create your own power-ups. Matching 4 runes
will give you a lightning ball that will knock out an entire row and
matching 5 runes will give you a fireball that will destroy the row and
column that it's in. Then, by using several lightning and fireballs, you
will get an extra bonus which will destroy 15-20 random runes.
To avoid using
all your lives, quit the game just before your time runs out then start that
level again. Also I find that levels can be completed quicker by trying to
get vertical rows first because you can get rid of a full horizontal row
anyway if you get four in a row first for a special rune. - Submitted

Secret
Runes:
During the last Wonder (Alexandria) I found by blowing up at least
one fireball and multiple lightning balls you will get secret Runes (ie: the
blue runes change to an evil like face). These do not appear to have
any higher value or effect themselves. However it becomes easier to get
multiple 4 or 5 in a row runes. I was able to get these in the first level
and second level, but I have yet to win the second level game. If there is a
key to getting the secret runes I would like to know it, as they don\'t
always appear when setting off multiple fireballs. - Submitted
