In certain cases when you
click on an item, you will see a message appear on the screen, the
message will give you a hint on what you need to do.
You don't have to stay in
one scene if you get stuck in a puzzle. Click on the dots that are at
the top right side of the scene, above the list, on the small map and
you will be able to toggle between locations.
If you click on too many
incorrect items back to back the screen will become blurry for a few
seconds.
You can revisit a scene at
any time after you completed it by clicking on its location on the map.
If you want to leave that particular game, just click on another
location.
GEOCACHE ITEMS
In every scene there is a
Geocache item that you must find. The Geocache item will not be on your
list. You can click on the word "Geocache" that is on top of
the scene in order to read a riddle about it.
JOURNAL ENTRY
Every scene has a journal
entry. Use the journal entry to help you solve a puzzle. It will give
you small clues as to what to do in a particular scene.
For example, the clue
says:"The war of 1812 was the right time then and now." Notice
it says..the right time, then and now" This is giving you a hint
that you need to change the time on a clock so that it is set to 6:12,
which is the equivalent of the military time 1812.
BLUE ITEMS
On your list of items to
find, you will also have some items that are marked in blue. In order to
find those blue items you have to perform another action in order to get
them.
TABS
Under the list of items
there are 3 tabs, "Tools", "List" and
"Items". In order to complete the game successfully you will
need to toggle between all these tabs.
TOOLS
In the tools tab you will
find the tools needed to get through each level. Each tool has a
different function.
ITEM FINDER/ HINTS
The item finder works as a
hint system of sorts. Click on the item finder to pick it up. Run the
item finder all over the scene and you will hear several beeps coming
out of the finder. The louder the finder is, the closer you are to
finding one of the items on your list.
You can also look at the
meter that is on the finder, the fuller the bars are, the closer you are
to finding an item.
You can use the item finder
as much as you want but each time you use it, it takes longer to
recharge.
ARCHAEOLOGIST BRUSH
The brush helps you clean
off the dirt that is covering some of the items that you need to find.
to use the brush, grab t from the tools section and then click it on the
area that you need to clean.
The brush will go back and
forth several times until the item is clean.The brush will make the same
motion regardless of whether it is cleaning off a piece for a clue or
not. The best way to tell if the brush is working correctly is to
look for dust being kicked up around the area.
HAMMER
Use the hammer to break
things open so that you can find hidden items inside of them. You can
tell if an item is needed in a particular area when you see some gears
on it as you hover your mouse around an item. You can break many
different items, pots, jugs,crates etc.
Not all items that you
break open will have something that you need to use, so don't worry
about it if you open something and there's nothing inside.
LIGHTER
The lighter is used to burn
things in order to see what is in them or underneath them. Most of the
time the game will tell you that an item is easy to burn, when they tell
you that make sure that you pull out the lighter from inventory.
Even though you may be
asked to burn certain items, not all burnt items will have something for
you to collect.
ITEMS TAB
Some of the items that you
find a scene can be used to solve another puzzle in the game. Most of
the time it will help you uncover the blue items on your list.
When you click on the items
they go straight into your inventory.
To use the items that went
into inventory, simply click on the tab marked "items" and you
will see the items that you collected.

5 RED BOOKS
You need to find and click
on the 5 red books that are in the scene. The books will automatically
go into inventory.
Click on the archaeologist
brush that is in the lower right corner, last shelf. The brush will help
you clean items off so that you can locate certain items in the scene.
BROOKLYN MAP
Click on the tab in the
lower right corner that says "items" You need to pick up all
the red books and place them in the bookends that are on the desk.
The books need to be in a
particular order for you to complete that puzzle. The books have to be
placed from 1 to 5 in the bookends.
A book that has been put in
place will glisten and will lock into place.
Once the books are in
order,place the paper over them. Then take the charcoal pencil from
inventory and place it over the paper.
Imagine that you're tracing
the image from the books onto the paper. While holding the pencil, move
it back and forth until the whole image from the books have been traced.
Once the area starts to
sparkle, it means that you can click on the item, that item will then be
crossed off your list.
SAFETY PIN
Take the archaeologist
brush from the tabs at the bottom of the page and place it in the top
right corner.
Just click your mouse and
hold it, the brush will sweep away all the dirt that is on the bookcase.
The safety pin will
automatically go into inventory.

inventory and place it on the potted plant that is on the desk. once the
plant breaks open you will get the allen key that is inside.
Large Iron Key
Place the allen key on the
clock that is in the upper right side of the scene. As you rotate the
handle, you will notice that it also changes the time on the clock.
Change the time until it says 6:12 (which in military time is 18:12)
Once you've set the right
time. the wall will open up( under the word "empire") click on
the large iron key that is inside.
NUMBER 8-UFO-CIA
Number 8-Use your
archaeologist brush on the lower right side of the wall, next to the
flag and you will discover the number 8. Look for other items on your
list that me be there as well.

Use your brush on the left
side of the scene, next to the flag that is on the left and you will
discover the UFO.
CIA
Use the hammer on the white
board that is on the lower left side, next to the escalators and you
will see the word "CIA" written on there, click on it and it
will go into inventory.

Note, you can open and
close the safe door by clicking on the handle or the wheel of the door.
Once the safe door is open, click on the light bulb so that you can see
inside the safe.
When you click on the safe

is on the top right side of the wall, notice the placement of the gold

Pull the gold weights in
the cuckoo clock in the room so that it matches the one in the picture.
Once the cuckoo bird comes out, click on it and you will get the key.

inventory and place it on the wench that is in the lower center of the
scene so you can lower the scaffolding.
Once the scaffolding comes
down, click on the density scanner that is on the lower right side of
the scaffold.
Take the density scanner
and place it on the lower center of the bridge until it disappears and
you are left with some gears rotating.
Take the pickaxe and place
it on the spot that the density scanner pointed to and a door will
appear.
Place the key on the door,
if you've found all the items you can exit, if not, look for the rest of
the items and then exit through the door.

Place the mirrors on the
two large statues that are in the room. Place the 3rd mirror on the
small arch that you see on the left side.
You will see light beams
appear in the scene. The last beam points to the right side of the back
wall, the triangle piece will fall on the ground in that area,

keyboard and you will see the results come up, it says

Once you get the book it
will go into the "items" tab, retrieve the book from there and
place it on the stand that is next to the computer screen.
Pick up the scissors that
are in the lower right side, next to the green desk lamp.
Flip the pages of the book
until it lands in the Paris section. Take the scissors and cut the map
out.

the bolts, make sure that you click on each bolt. The tip of your cursor
should land on each bolt. Wait until the bolt jumps off the balcony
before you so you can start with the next bolt.

gargoyle, the cat and the camera. To the right side of the wheel you
will find one of the spiders.
The other 2 spiders are on
the back wall, one is in the upper right side and the other one is in
the lower left side.
Canopic Jar- Use the
lighter on the lower right side and you will find one of the canopic
jars.
Use the lighter again but
this time in the upper left side to retrieve the second jar.
BLUE GEM
We clicked on the tablets
until they all stayed down, the last one we pressed was the one in the
upper right edge of the scene. Once the last stone was pressed the blue
gem appeared on the lower right side of the wall, above the head of the

Place the blue gem in the
upper left side of the wall, where you see a gold ring. You will then
see some blue beams of light that will reflect on the etchings that are
on the back wall.
Notice that each light
points to a particular symbol, you need to input those symbols on the
wheel that is on the lower center of the scene, on the altar.
You want the outer wheel
(The largest wheel) to have the cow symbol.
The middle ring should be
moved until you see the symbol of the jar.
The smallest ring (inner
ring) should show the oval shaped symbol.
Once you've turned the
wheels to the right position, grab the blue gem from the ceiling and
place it in the middle of the circle.
The sarcophagus will open
automatically, just give it a few seconds, click on the treasure to end
the level.

THE MAYAN MUSEUM
CLUE GIVEN
The weight of a crystal
skull is a difficult one to match.

Use the brush on the right
side of the back wall, under the word 'exposition" in between the 2
bird etchings.
LEAF FOSSIL
Use the brush on the upper
left edge of the scene to get the leaf.
Click on all the artifacts
that are on the white blocks and place them in inventory.
GLASS SKULL/KEY
Use the lighter to burn the
newspaper that is in the lower right side of the scene to retrieve the
key.
Use the key to open the
glass case that contains the skull, when you take the skull out it
sets off the alarm. You have to replace the skull with something that
has the same weight in order to fool the alarm system.
Pick up the round stone
that is in the lower left side and place it in the glass case.

off the entire roped in area and you will see several items that were
unearthed.
Place the lighter on the
bushes that are in the lower center of the scene and you will find the
magnifying glass.
Burn the bush that is in
the top left corner of the scene and the jade earrings will appear.
With the hammer, break the
rock that is in the lower right side and the millipede will appear.
Break the rock in the lower left side and the mask will appear.
Take the hammer and place
it on different parts of the dig site to see what you can uncover.

Pick up the red box cutter
that is in the lower center of the ground and it will go into inventory.
Take the box cutter and
place it on the bag that is on the lower right side of the scene. inside
the roped in area and you will get the red diamond.

6 CALENDAR PIECES
MAYAN CALENDAR
Click on the round calendar
that is on the lower right side of the page.
Open the tab that holds the
"Items" and in there you will see the Mayan Calendar pieces.
Click on any piece and
place it on the round calendar. Once the piece is on the calendar you
have to rotate the piece slowly until it locks into place.
MAYAN TEMPLE
SCARABS
When you first enter the
scene, it will be dark and you will be able to hear scarabs running
around. Pull out the lighter from inventory and click on it so it will
light up.
Use the light from the
lighter to guide you through room, look for the torches that are on the
right side of the wall and for the one on the left side.
Get the hammer from
inventory and place it on the beetles that are running all over the
ground. You have to squash them until you see the green liquid on the
ground.
Once all the beetles have
been eliminated, a small black cage will appear in the middle of the
structure.
Use the hammer on the crate
that is on the lower left side.

Mayan Sundial- It is on the
head of the idol that is on the right side.
Click on the small
structure that is in front of the temple and you will see that you can
arrange the tiles to form a picture.
To slide the tiles around
just click on two adjacent pictures and they will swap places.
Once the picture is back
together correctly you will find the tablets in the Place the tablets on
the doors and they will open. You can exit through there if you already
found all the items. If not, go back and finish up the list.
Ammonite Fossils-Use the
hammer on the rock that is on the right side of the temple. Use the
hammer again on the rock that is on the left side of the temple's steps.
Use the hammer on the crate
that is on the lower right side and you will find the book inside.
Use the hammer on the rock
that is on the lower left side of the scene and you will find the
crystal inside.
Grab the lighter from
inventory and place it on the bushes that are on the lower left corner
and the iguana will appear.

Take the lighter and place
it on the candles that are on each corner of the back wall so you can
have some light.

Use the hammer on the rock
that is on the far right side and the star will appear.
MAYAN STATUE
Take the Mayan Statue head
and place it on the front of the statue.
You have to turn the head
of the statue by clicking on it. Once the head is in a certain
direction, click on the matching stone on the wall that is facing the
same way.
Repeat this step 4 times so
that you can match all the directions. If you make a mistake and click
on the wrong stone, you will have to start the sequence all over again.
You will know that a stone
is facing the right way when you see the stone glisten after you click
on it.
Click on the treasure to
exit.

Use the hammer on the 2
lanterns that are on each side of the door and the keys will fall to the
ground, pick up both keys.
IRON MAP
Place the 2 keys from
inventory on the hatch that is on the ground, make sure that you place a
key on each side of the lock to open it. You will know the right place
for the keys when you see the gears appear.
Once the hatch is open,
grab the iron map that is inside.

Pick up the shovel that is
on the right side of the beach.
Click the hammer on the
crate that is on the lower left side and get the lobster crate that is
inside.
Use the shovel from
inventory to dig some holes in the sand. Place the shovel next to the
buried barrel that is on the left, under the palm tree. Dig another hole
close to the green maracas, right side.
It's important that you
keep digging until the bars appear on the screen.

Place the rope on the
pulley that is on the large branch of the tree and the rope will wrap
around it.
Take the magnet and place
it on the lower part of the rope, the part that is close to the trunk of
the tree.
Grab the iron bar that
shows up at the bottom of the magnet.

Take the lighter and place
it on the shrubbery that is in front of the cannon that is on the right
side, click on the tiny treasure chest that is on the ground.
The cannonball stuffer is
in the doorway.

Place the cannonball
stuffer on the piece of gum that is on Blackbeard's hat, then place the
cannonball stuffer inside the cannon and the coin will come out.

Break the rock that is on
the lower right side and you will find the whale inside.
Silver key is on the lower
center of the scene.
Gold key is inside the
bottle that is on the lower center of the scene.
Bridge Piece is on the top
right side, the other one is on the top left side.There is another piece
of the bridge that is on the right edge of the scene.
The bronze key is on the
lower left side
Place the bridge pieces on
the platforms, once the bridge is repaired the first set of stumps will
come out from the ground, click on the stumps.
It doesn't matter in which
order you open the chests, we just happen to start with the middle.
The solution will be the
same for everyone since the clue tells you that there is only one
correct path.
Once you reach each chest
you need to open it with the right key.

All the chests will be
empty, the wall in the back will open up, click on the right side of the
opening to reach the treasure.
