Mastering
the 200 points when dueling:
Watch what the computer does and do exactly what the computer does. Whenever
possible, go for magic squares (the ones that light up). When there are no
magic squares available, go for the highest points.
Whenever possible, try NOT to give the computer any magic coins. In the
beginning of the duel, never take a large amount of points in the middle of
the board -- instead, let the computer take it. This will 1) give you a
magic coin and 2) usually will open up a big spread where the coin can be
put to gain more points.
Note that the duel for 50 points and the one for 200 points are different.
In the 50 point duel, follow what the computer does. If possible, don\'t use
your magic points to reshuffle. Use your points ONLY for getting major
points. The computer will reshuffle for you.
These are tips that I've learned after playing the game several times. I
have accomplished 400,000 points...now trying to see how to do 450,000 to
500,000. Dueling has become one of the easiest parts of the game! - Submitted
