Hint:
Win easily at Bristol: Set your car to the highest air pressure in the tires and lower
the spoiler as low as possible. Take all the grille tape off and set the
weather temperature as low as it possible so your car will not overheat very
fast. Turn cautions on so you can give your engine a cool down. In the
corners, run right on the wall and turn as sharp as you can. On the
straightaways run near the top of the track. Finally, remember to keep the
pedal to the metal.
Hint:
Win easily in season mode: In season mode, set the number of cars to "1", and you
only have to beat that car (usually Steve Park's #1 car).
Hint:
Get into first: At superspeedways, if your car does not go fast, slow down and
let the leader catch up to you, then crash into him. They may retire, so you
can lap them.
Hint:
Extra slow cars: Go to "Driver Info", modify original, then select the
driver that you want to drive slower. Go to "Rating" and set
everything to 0. This can be done separately to each car.
Hint:
Custom car appearance: Select the "Opponent Manager" option on the main menu.
Click on the name of the car that you like, then go to the paint shop. Click
on "Export" and enter a filename for the car decals. Go to the
decals for the pit people, click "Export", and enter a different
filename. Save, go to your car's paint shop, and click "Import".
Find the filename entered for the car decals, click it, then select
"OK". Then, go to the pit people and do the pit decals. Do a
little work to change the number to your own and your car will have a
customized appearance.
Hint:
Remove Restrictor plates at SuperSpeedways: Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a
backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the
"track.ini" file in the Daytona and Talladega folders in the
"\nascar racing 4\tracks" folder. Find the line "chassis_type
= 1" and change it to "chassis_type = 2". You can now reach
speeds of over 200 mph on these tracks.
Please
select the first letter of the game's title below. If the word
"The" appears at the start of a title, ignore it and search for
the second word in the title:
