Secret
mode: Choose arcade or arrange mode. Press Up or Select
at the difficulty selection screen. The following codes now be entered at
the secret mode screen.
Another
mode: Press Up(2), Down(2), Up(2), Down(2)
at the secret mode screen.
Maniac
mode: Press Left(2), Right(2), Left(2), Right(2)
at the secret mode screen.
Double
mode: Press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left,
Right at the secret mode screen.
Mirror
mode: Press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left,
Right, Left, Right at the secret mode screen.
Versus
mode: Press Down + Start on controller two at the mode
selection screen to unlock the versus mode option.
Secret
characters: Highlight "Arcade mode" or "Arrange mode"
at the main menu. Then hold Left and press Circle. For
another set of characters, hold Right and press Circle.
Special
modes: Press Start at the song selection screen until a little
box comes up. You may now choose if you want stealth arrows, small arrows,
mirror mode, and little characters, etc.
Double,
unison, single or versus modes: Press Circle to select "Game Mode" at the main
title screen. A box with those options will appear.
Additional
characters: Press Up or Down at the character selection
screen to display more characters.
Control
credits: When in the credits, you can move the spinning cube by using
the arrows on the mat or the D-pad. You can also press X and
Circle to spin it. Press R1 or L1 to make the
spinning cube zoom into you. Press R2 or L2 to make the
spinning cube zoom to the other screens.
Control
training mode menu: In training mode, press R1 or L1 while selecting
the options to play around with the menu. You can also watch the numbers
during this.
Slow
training mode arrows: Hold Start while playing in training mode. The music and
arrows should slow down. When the music and arrows are at its slowest,
both music and arrows will return to normal.
Dancing
workout girls: Highlight the "Workout mode" option at the main menu,
then hold Square + Circle. Skip the workout settings and go
to the characters. The characters will be performing their dances instead
of being still models.
Play
against Alien and Tama Kid: Highlight the "Arrange Mode" option at the main menu,
then hold Left and begin game play.
Play
against Question Mark Man: Highlight the "Arrange Mode" option at the main menu,
then hold Right and begin game play.
Boy
song: Successfully complete the game three hundred times under the
hard difficulty setting.
Make
A Jam song: Successfully complete the game ten times under the normal
difficulty setting.
Paranoia
KCET song: Successfully complete the game one hundred times under the hard
difficulty setting.
Hint:
Automatically fail yourself during a song: At any time during any song, hold Select for a short
period of time and the game will fail you automatically and return to the
main menu. This works even if "Game Over During Song" is
disabled.
Glitch:
Random select: On the song select screen, highlight the CD that randomly
selects a song. Set the difficulty on standard and look closely at the
feet. You will see Paramount (7 feet) and Exorbitant (8 feet) songs are on
standard mode even though there are no songs on standard mode with that
difficulty setting. Also, set the difficulty on expert and look closely at
the feet. You will see Simple (1 foot), Moderate (2 feet), and Ordinary (3
feet) even though there are no songs on Expert mode with that difficulty
setting.
