Fight
as Krizalid: Highlight the random character icon at the player selection
screen in team versus or single versus modes. Then, hold Select and
press Circle, X, Triangle, Square. Krizalid
will appear below the random character icon. Note: Highlight any
character, then hold Start and press Square, Circle, X,
Triangle, Square in the Japanese version of the game.
Alternate
costumes: Highlight a character then select him or her with LP or HP
for normal colors, or LK or HK for inverted colors.
Display
character order: Hold Start when selecting your character's fighting
order.

Hidden moves: Every character has about two to four more moves than shown in
the manual. Refer to the strategy guides section for more of their moves,
or go to "Practice" and try to find them.

Attacking tips:
When your opponent is
crouch-blocking, use a drop kick to hit them.
When your opponent is
stand-blocking, use a foot sweep to hit them.
When your opponent is in
the air they cannot block anything.
When your opponent is
standing and blocking, use a drop kick to get in close and do an instant
HP or HK to throw through their block.
Hint
Using teams: The following are combinations of players for the use of
opening demos through the Team Play method. Each row of four people is a
team with the exception of the Kyo, Kyo1, Kyo2, Iori, Roulette, and the
blank space.

Hint:
Easy special hit: Set Maxima or Robert for your striker. While in a battle use
the striker to attack your opponent. While Maxima is holding or Robert is
attacking the opponent, use a Super Special or Power MAX Special move on
your opponent for an easy hit.
Hint:
Special picture: There are four characters you can do this with: Kyo Kusanagi,
Iori Yagami, Shingo Yabuki, and K'. Put two of any of those four
characters on a team in single player mode, or all of them on a team in
team play mode, at the end you will get a special picture with K', Kyo
Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, and Shingo Yabuki.
