Cheat mode:
Enter one of the following codes at the "Enter Special Codes" screen (the vs. screen where there are three basketballs) before a game begins to activate the corresponding cheat function. The first number represents how many times Triangle is pressed. The second number represents how many times Circle is pressed. The third number represents how many times Square is pressed. End the code by pressing the D-pad in any direction. For example, press Triangle, Circle(2), Square(3) and any D-pad direction to activate code 1 2 3.

Hint: Act A Fool:
To do the "Act A Fool" move, press L2 + Square.

Alternately, press R2 + L2 + Square.

Hint: Stop Act A Fool:
When your opponent or CPI does an Act A Fool move, tap X exactly it starts. If done correctly, you will stop the Act A Fool move and take possession of the ball.

Hint: Bringing Down The House:
To do the "Bringing Down The House" move, when your Juice House meter is full, hold R1 + R2 + Triangle to ally-oop the ball to yourself and break the backboard. This is needed to win a game in the third tournament.

To do a "Bringing Down The House", press X, Circle, L1.

First, press Triangle to ally oop the ball to yourself. Then, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Circle and you should do "Bringing Down The House".

Hold L2 + R1 as you are approaching the front of the basket, then press Triangle.

Hint: Hackey Sackin':
Press L2 + R1 + Square.

Hint: Magic Handles:
Hold both Juice buttons while holding L3 + R3.

Hint: Off The Hizzle:
To do the "Off The Hizzle" move, press R1 + Square.

Alternately, press L2 + Square.

Hint: Pass To Self:
Hold R2 + R1 and press Square. If done correctly, you should throw the ball against the backboard and back to yourself. Note: Do not do this when an opponent is nearby or after an "Off The Hizzle".

To the "Pass To Self" move, hold R1 + R2 then press X. Your baller should throw the ball off the backboard and it should come right back to him.

Hint: Smell Dem Kicks:
Press L2 + R2 + R1 + Square.

Hint: Stunt Dunk:
To do a stunt dunk, press R1 + R2 + Square while in front of your opponent going towards the basket.

Hint: Clear the ball without running pass the line:
If you have the special move to pass to a friend on the sideline, do so when you need to clear the ball.

Hint: Defeating Jason Kidd in Rags 2 Riches:
Hold L1 and press Quick Steal to push Jason Kidd down. He will drop the ball sometimes. Make sure you get ahead of him frequently, but not too much; if anyone scores 21 points, Jason Kidd automatically wins. It is also a good idea to miss your shot a few times, then when he rebounds the ball make sure he is near the sideline and push him out of bounds. The ball will stay inside for an easy steal.

To defeat Jason Kidd, keep tieing to get the amount of steals you need. Then when you have enough, win.

Hint: Off Head Oop:
Get in front of your opponent and be in the paint. Press L2, Square then walk to the rim and you will jump and dunk.

Hint: White Derivishin:
Press L2 + R2 + Square.

Hint: Secret shot:
Press L2, then press Circle.

Hint: Enhance stats with shoes:
Your baller gets enhanced stats if he is wearing certain shoes. It does not matter what else he is wearing.

Impact Playa: +5 Power, +10 Speed, +5 Stamina, +10 Ball Handling.
Inta-ceptas: +5 Rebounding, +10 Block, +10 Steal, +5 Clutch.
Night Owl IV: +5 Power, +10 Speed, +5 Stamina, +10 Ball Handling.
See Ya: +7 Short shot, +3 Medium range, +3 3pt shot, +7 Dunk.
Shock + Struts: +7 Short shot, +3 Medium range, +3 3pt shot, +7 Dunk.
T's Rhino: +5 Rebounding, +10 Block, +10 Steal, +5 Clutch.
Murakamisans: +3 Power, +5 short range, +5 rebounding, +3 Freethrows.
Voltaires: +3 Power, +5 short range, +5 rebounding, +3 Freethrows.

Hint: Watching movies:
Go to "Collectibles" to watch the movies you have earned from your created character.

Hint: Deleting a custom baller:
Go to the start menu, then go "Profile Options" (not "Inside Stuff"). Next, go to "Unload Profile". Choose your profile and select the person you want to delete. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Select "Yes" and you baller will be gone. Note: This is not for Rags To Riches mode.

Hint: Alternate Bobcats jersey:
Go to "Customize Baller, then go to tops and pick "Bobcats". Go to "Wrist Gear" and choose "Orange Peel". If your baller has knee pads, choose "Blue". If your baller has a hat, take it off. If he has elbow pads, choose "Blue". Go back to the main part of "Inside Stuff", and your baller should have their home jersey. Note: This does not work with any other jersey.

Hint: Mortal Kombat reference:
At Yao Ming's Prep School, look in the background around the hoop to se 2D Mortal Kombat characters watching the game.

Glitch: Misspelling:
At the main menu, go to "Inside Stuff" then to "Phrase-ology". Enter the ONE ON ONE code and will say you unlocked "Julius Irving's" alternate gear, insted of "Julius Erving's".

Glitch: Get outside court with ball:
Run towards the side of the court closet to the camera. Face the camera, then hold Down and keep moving the Right Analog-Stick Down and you should juke out of the court.

Glitch: Make ball stick on backboard:
Get to the corner closest to the camera and the backboard. Do a Pass To Self and the ball should get stuck on the side of the backboard for a few seconds.

Glitch: Slam dunk without leaving the ground:
Exactly when the other player is starting to dunk, press Circle or Square to attempt a steal. The player should be doing the dunk action, but still be on the ground.
