Easy Create A Baller points: To get points fast to make a baller juiced, make a new baller.
Then, use this baller in a Street Challenge. Skip every day and at the end
you will still get the points. If it is your first completed Street
Challenge, you will get 50,000 points. If it is not your first, you will get
5,000 points. This should only take about five minutes or less. You can
repeat this with the same baller. Make sure that after you are done the
Street Challenge that you delete the world so you can do it again.
Hint:
Easy trick points on a GameBreaker: When you go up to dunk, make sure all your teammates are
downcourt. Go up, hold all four Turbo buttons and rotate the Right
Analog-stick until another teammate jumps up. continue this until all
two teammates jump, and on the last player just let them dunk.
Hint:
Easy GameBreaker: Run down the court and do about five trick moves (hold Turbo
for more points). As soon as your teammate jumps up for the alley oop, then
press the Back 2 Papa buttons (R1, L1 and Square)
towards the basket. The ball should bounce off the backboard into your
teammate's hand, and he should dunk it. This will give you a large amount of
trick points.
Block, steal, dinner serves and
hold any three Turbos and dunk it.
Hint:
Stop opponent's GameBreaker: If your opponent has a GameBreaker and you have the ball, hold it
as long as you can. When you shoot it, have your big player jump in the air
and catch it before it goes in. This is offensive goaltending, but you will
have a new shot clock.
Hint:
Keep your opponent from scoring: Have someone with at least 85 points in blocks and 85 power.
Stand under the goal. When they shoot hold two Turbos and jump up to
grab the ball out of the air.
Hint:
Easy shots: When shooting the ball from beyond the three point line, hold two
or more Turbos and shoot, or shoot as you are running towards the
goal.
Hint:
Easy dunks: Go to "Props" and pick the trophy. Put it at the free
throw line then do "Under Both Legs" (two Turbos and Trick-stick
Down/Left) and "Shoulder Roll Left" (Two Turbos and Trick-stick
Left).
Hold Turbo until it gets
very low or none at all, then go for a dunk.
Hint:
Easy SP: Choose the legendary difficulty setting to get maximum SP, and
get as many GameBreakers as possible.
Go to the Dunk Contest and
choose the legendary difficulty setting. Select King James and use props.
When you are playing a dunk
contest, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + X before the three
point line, then run up just for a second and press Circle. You will
catch it, giving you some nasty points.
Put a prop on the court in the
Dunk Contest. Take off with all Turbos. In the air, do all Turbos
+ Left and Right. After that, do two Turbos + Right.
Note: Do this with King James for best results.
Select "Dunk Contest"
under the "Play It" menu. Choose "Create New" and select
two dunkers (default). Then select "Legendary" at the difficulty
setting menu. Add LeBron James from the "Top Dunkers", and set him
for controller one. Under the Atlanta Hawks, select Kenny Anderson, and set
him as CPU. Choose a court. Select "My Rules" instead of
"Play Game". Change "Dunks Per Round" to "1",
and "Watch CPU dunks" to "No" so that it is faster. Dunk
the ball with a 25 point score or higher. You will win over 250 SP. Keep
selecting "Rematch" after you win.
Enter the Dunk Contest with
someone who has a rating of 99 on dunks. Press all Turbos + X
to pass the ball to yourself. Then, wait for the ball to bounce and go and
run for it. Jump in the air. When you catch the ball, press all Turbos
+ Up then press two Turbos + Right and land the dunk.
You should get a 30 every time.
To get easy 30s, have someone
who has a dunking rating of 90 and above (for example, Lebron James, Spud
Webb, or even created players). Stand at the three point line and press R1
+ X. You will through the ball in the air. Immediately after the ball
bounces, hold all Turbos and jump. When you catch the ball hold two Turbos
and do two tricks. You will get a 30 every time, as long as you do not do
the same tricks.
Go to "Play It" and
select the "Pickup Game" option. choose your team and players.
Then, go to "My Rules". Set "Play To" up to 50, then
turn the shot clock off. Begin the game. Do tricks as long as desired, but
watch your turbo. After you do a large number of tricks, wait for somebody
with good dunks to go up in the air. Pass them the ball the moment that they
go up and push the Trick Stick a few times and let him dunk. This
should earn you points and GameBreakers, which will give you more points. Do
this every time that you get the ball and you should have major trick points
and SP.
Use the following trick to get
an automatic 30 in the Dunk Contest. When you are up in the Dunk Contest,
choose the tallest prop and place it right where the spotlight puts it after
you select the prop. Then, run towards the prop and hold all Turbos
and press Circle to take off. While still holding all Turbos,
Press Trick Stick Right. After the red circle with the right arrow in
it is at the top of the screen, with all Turbos still held, press Trick
Stick Down. For best results take off as late as possible without
hitting the prop.
This trick requires somebody
with a rating of 89 Handles or more, and somebody who can dunk. When you get
the ball, immediately pass it to your player with the most Handles. When you
pass the halfcourt mark, go slightly behind the 3 point margin and start
doing tricks with all Turbos. Note: If you want to do a steady stream
of tricks, just press all Turbos quickly, and press a direction on
the Trick Stick. Then, release the Turbos. By doing this, you
will not lose as much turbo. When somebody on your team jumps for an
alley-oop and you have more than four red tricks in your combo meter, pass
it to him. If you did a good combo, you will have a GameBreaker, and 40,000
points by now. When you get the ball back, do a Dunk GameBreaker, and rotate
the Trick Stick with no turbo. Then, pass it to the next, and do the
same. Do the same for the last person. If you have done everything with good
timing and have successfully completed the dunk, you should have 250,000
points or more from the GameBreaker. If you practice enough, you can get
four points from the GameBreaker. Repeat all these steps and you should soon
be getting a lot of SP for GameBreakers and trick points.
Hint:
Recommend team: Go to an exhibition game and choose the NBA All Stars. Then,
choose King James (Lebron James), Steve Franchise (Steve Franchis), and Kobe
(Kobe Bryant).
Hint:
Street Challenge: As you progress through the "Street Challenge", it is
more important to develop a well rounded team with dunks, shot, and handles
vs. all blocks or high reputation players. For example, choose a seven foot
tall player for blocks, someone quick with handles, and a good long range
shooter.
Hint:
Gaining control from tip-off: At tip-off, hold all four Turbos and tap Square + X
repeatedly to get the jump on your opponent and gain control of the ball.
Alternately, tap Circle
when the ball gets to its highest point.
Hint:
Keep a record with no losses: Every time you begin to lose a game and you know you cannot win,
reset the system. The game saves after every game. Thus, you will have all
of your progress up until your next game.
Hint:
Dunk Contest Freeball Passing and Mid-air Trick combos: To start a dunk, you can either jump or do a freeball pass. To
jump, press Circle + any Turbo (press L1, R1, or
L3). To do a freeball pass, press X + any Turbo (press L1,
R1, or L3).
Pressing X will bounce
the ball behind your back.
Pressing X + R1
will toss the ball behind the back, then hit it with your elbow behind the
back.
Pressing X + L1
will bounce the ball behind the back and through the legs.
Pressing X and
clicking the Left Analog-stick will lob the ball.
