Span Extensions option: Successfully complete Heroes Across Time scenario (scenario 9).
Hint:
Ranks: There are five playable ranks in the game: Free Officer, Vassal,
Prefect, Viceroy, and Sovereign.
Hint:
Floods: Floods occur usually in the southern regions and sometimes in the
east and the west. Floods can destroy or damage the gates and destroy many
crops. Start your army in the area around the Central Plains unless you want
to keep rebuilding it every six to twelve months.
Hint:
Earthquakes: Earthquakes usually hit in the western regions around Xia Pi,
Xiao Pei, etc. around Sun Jian's first capital. Earthquakes are not as bad
as floods, but they inflict more damage to the gates. It is recommended that
you start in the central plains to avoid them.
Hint:
Oath Of The Peach Garden video: This is an intermission sequence where Liu Bei meets his two
brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and gets help from Jian Yong to end the
chaos. The only characters you can get this with is Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang
Fei, and Jian Yong. It will appear when you play it from the first years.
Hint:
Yellow Turban video: You will unlock this intermission sequence with all officers.
Play the first years and it will appear as soon as you start.
Hint:
Bow units: Bow units are weak against foot units, but are strong against
horse units. However, bow units are only effective when they attack horse
units from a distance. At close range, the two units are even.
